Hello AngeLingo Platform Policies

Requirements

Teachers must:

• Provide accurate personal and teaching information.
• Submit required documents and certifications when requested.
• Complete an interview or teaching demonstration.
• Follow Hello AngeLingo teaching standards.

Approval

• Hello AngeLingo reserves the right to approve or reject applications.
• Teachers must not begin teaching until their account is approved and hired on the platform.

Teachers must

• Start classes on time.
• Prepare lessons before class.
• Provide a positive and encouraging environment.
• Correct students politely and clearly.
• Adapt lessons to the student's level.
• Use appropriate teaching materials.

Teachers must not

• Cancel classes frequently.
• Be disrespectful toward students.
• Teach while distracted or unprepared.
• Share student information.
• Request private payments or move students outside the platform.

Students should

• Attend lessons on time.
• Participate actively.
• Respect teachers.
• Complete learning activities.
• Communicate politely.

Students must not

• Use inappropriate language.
• Disrupt classes.
• Harass teachers.
• Record lessons without permission.

Teacher cancellation

If a teacher cannot attend, they must:

• Inform Hello AngeLingo as soon as possible.
• Provide a reason for cancellation.
• Avoid repeated cancellations.

Possible actions for repeated teacher absences

• Warning
• Schedule limitation
• Temporary suspension

Student cancellation

More than 12 hours before class: the student may reschedule or cancel and keep the lesson credit.

Less than 12 hours before class: the lesson may be counted as completed and the credit is used.

If the student does not attend: the lesson is charged and the credit is used.

Teacher late

• Less than 5 minutes late: the teacher should continue and adjust lesson time where reasonable.
• More than 10 minutes late: report to Hello AngeLingo support.

Student late

• The teacher should wait according to platform rules.
• Lesson time may not be extended if the student arrives late.

Teachers should

• Follow lesson objectives.
• Encourage speaking practice.
• Give feedback after lessons.
• Track student progress.

Hello AngeLingo may

• Review lesson quality.
• Request improvements.
• Provide teacher training.

Users must not

• Share private information inappropriately.
• Copy platform materials without permission.
